A better day than yesterday

It has been an infinitely better day than yesterday in that it is ending on a positive note today. I am doing some much-needed reading and keeping my focus. A 100% commitment now but as I write this, I know something will crop up that will increase my focus and my determination to become what I see in my dreams.

Lord, in Your Wisdom and Mercy, hear my prayer.
Thank You, Father that joy comes in the morning indeed, Amen.

It has been a good day but seems to be ending on a  sour note. Lord, in Your Mercy, hear my prayer.
Lord, release me, please. Amen.

Another marker on my life

A very tough day at the office today with lots of swirling thoughts and a near-disaster that only the Lord could have averted as He did. A check on me to re-examine my priorities and really find out what my goals are. I think I know but today has kind of jolted me to think through things once again. The answer at the moment points to one thing but I will keep asking the question.

Thank You, Father for deliverance today and for progress that is being made constantly even though I feel very much like I am walking in a bog sometimes. A step at a time and a day at a time. Thank You, Father for today, Amen.

Out of turn

It has been one of those days that marks one's life; I behaved in a way not naturally my mode of operation and I pat myself on the back for it. My dreams are no longer going to hang on the whims and caprices of anyone and I will fight for them in every way possible.

Sometimes one has to step out of the boat, out of one's comfort zone to take a stand of faith. Lord, I thank You for Your Mercy and Your Grace always, Amen.
Thank You, Father for today.

Progress made indeed

It has been a good day for me today. I have made progress with my job-hunting and finally have got a foot in the door. Nothing that is paying yet but definitely something today that could lead to great things indeed. I am very grateful for that.

I am feeling a bit drained though and hope to be fast asleep by 10, definitely, so that I can wake up early.

Thank You, Father for today and thank You for those open doors and also for Your everlasting Word that is established in heaven, Amen.

My 40th birthday

I turned 40 last week and I spent the day in quiet reflection just like I wanted to. Very peaceful, very quiet and very grateful for this particular birthday. To say that I feel I have matured over the past year would be a bit of an understatement. And I don't mean that boastfully at all; I have grown very much in the area of keeping my focus and I am quietly excited about the new frontiers ahead of me.

I am also very grateful for good friends and for my faith which continues to undergird all that I do and that was the abiding emotion on my birthday: gratitude. O Lord, how can I thank You for all that You have done for me over the years and what is to come? Thank You, Father in Jesus' Name that there is none beside You. You are the Only true God and I give all praise and adoration to You for all that you continue to do for me.

Thank You for the open doors set before me and for the next 40 years that lie ahead.
Thank You, Lord, thank You, Lord, thank You, Jesus, Amen.

Significant dreams

I have had a few significant dreams in the past week and I have to take note and act accordingly to what I have seen. It is not pleasant to realise that someone does not like you or have your interests at heart. However you cannot change that in another person, you have no right to. But you can act accordingly and be proactive about your own actions and also what you can do to take the power out of the hurt.
The first thing is to forgive the person in question, second thing is to pray for them and then do your best to be on good terms with them. The rest can only be left to God who knows all things about what the situation is like.
Nana, take note and take yourself very seriously and pursue your God with all of your heart so that He may reveal the paths of uprightness and goodness to you.
Thank You, Father for Your grace and mercy, Amen.

Yesterday the theme of the day was about photographs and I don't know whether there was a lesson in there that I was supposed to pick up. Anyway, it was interesting that photographs were significant yesterday and I have to think what that is about.
Today has been good as well though I have done more reading than writing. I wanted to write but where to start from was as always the challenge and also not really having anything in mind to write about. It has been a productive day though and did read a lot and will continue that as much as I can tomorrow. I have also tidied up a bit and folded some clothes though the pile still is quite a mountain in the laundry room.
Sikakrom beckons, Father and I look forward to my great exodus and return very soon, I pray.
Thank You, Father for today and for photographs.
Thank You.
