Liberation Day

Yesterday was Liberation Day. I managed to do what I didn’t think I could do or rather hadn’t thought to do. There are no limits in God indeed. He is the Maker of Heaven and Earth and He lives in me! Hallelujah!
And all things are possible to them that believe!
I always am amazed at how much more there is to learn about God because He is immortal. And those who dare experience great and mighty things in Him.
He is awesome!

Acceptance and humility

I just found out last week in a very dramatic way that acceptance is not really humility. Sometimes accepting someone else’s point of view is a sign of humility. However it is not always the case. Sometimes we accept someone else's point of view for other reasons such as fear or defeat or discouragement or some other insidious emotion.
I learnt this lesson to great cost and I am going to do my best not to do that again. Especially for me as a Christian it is going to be tough sometimes because I might erroneously think I am not being Christ-like but I have to learn to get to the place of pure convictions according to the Word of God and not mistake emotion or goody goody feelings for humility.
Somtimes there is no other way but to firmly but politely fight for your convictions whatever the consequences.
Humility is not cowering acceptance.

Bits and pieces

It is sometimes a bit frustrating for me to do things in bits and pieces especially when I am in the mood to do so but I have to get used to it. Such is the way of all mothers and I will not be the first who has to learn how to make do with the little time that I get in between tasks.
I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

Our glorious God

The Lord is good and His mercy endures forever. The amazing thing about the Word of God is how alive it is and as one grows as a Christian, the understanding of the Word gets deeper and more alive.
After the challenges of this week and the trial of my faith, I am grateful for the Word of God and the sustenance of the Lord.
And Sarah will grow up to testify about the Lord's healing power upon her.
He is a good God and those that put their trust in Him are never ever confounded.
Hallelujah, glory to His wonderful Name, Amen.
