Writing progress in Nanakrom

Thank You, Father for today. I managed to some writing today and not just a few lines too. Thank You, Lord for this. I will continue tomorrow and may the glory be Yours always.

I also did some babysitting and felt much better than I did yesterday, strength-wise. Talked to a friend briefly and also finished reading a book by Tami Hoag. I do enjoy her books but her main character seemed so angry in this book and I am so glad that the ending of the book finds her making some sort of peace with her past. Good to know that good always triumphs over evil too, no matter what.

Jesus is Messiah indeed and He has brought us glory and grace. What a faithful God I serve indeed, One whose ways are always perfect. Thank You, Lord God for today, Amen

Making an effort

I had to do my hair yesterday and as always it took a few hours so came home quite late. Slept until after nine which is quite unusual for me, had to babysit and so was so knackered by this afternoon.
I still made an attempt to write  and managed a few lines but was still very proud of myself because I had made an effort. Was hoping to have closed my eyes by 10:30 but it does not seem like I will make it. Just relaxing with a novel now and then will have a bubble bath to even out the kinks and hop into bed.
A good day even if I did very little.
Thank You, Lord for Your Grace and Your Mercy daily.

Writing progress

It is quite frustrating that as a writer, I seem to feel like writing very much when I am away from a computer or without pen and paper. So I am now behind my laptop and desiring very much to write but nothing filtering through so I decided to visit this spot instead.
Not to worry at all or panic about. I know from past experience that it sometimes takes time to get into the flow. I have to relax and believe that there will be a flow of words when I sit down to write.
Pressing on indeed, pressing on indeed.
Thank You, Father for everything.

Christmas day was cool

Christmas day was good, despite my misgivings and wanting to spend a quiet day on my own. The kids enjoyed their presents, our friends who came over were good company as always and we all watched Ice Age 3 together, which I think is the funniest out of the three made so far.
So yes, the day was good especially since I was not in charge of any cooking.

Today has also been good but have been feeling very drowsy and had to go for a walk for some fresh air. Reading a book by Barbara Sher called Wishcraft which made me go online to listen to her. The title has nothing to do with witchcraft, I hasten to add and there is a lot of common sense in her book. The one thing she talks about is getting support for your dreams and that is what I like to hear.

I have already become more focused on what I want from life and believe that 2010 will be a vintage and excellent year indeed for great things. Writing included.
Thank You, Father for today, thank You for Your Grace.

Keep getting up

Still trying to get back into my groove, but I must confess that I have been very lazy. I feel a bit bad about it and will certainly think of the long-term and do my very best. I think a lack of exercise has also slowed down my activity level and I am missing a friend who keeps me on my toes.
Excuses, excuses, excuses. Not good enough, Nana. I will keep trying to get back into the groove once more. Next year is a year of opportunity and it should end better than this one is ending, much as I have done a lot of growing up.
Thank You, Father for Your Mercy, thank You for Your Grace, Amen.

Another season

Today is another day and I am grateful for this new opportunity to start all over again and regroup. And it is a new season and hopefully one of greater things than the year before. Thank God for friends, for books, for lessons learnt and for all things new.
Thank You, Father for a new season of growth and results and moving on with all dreams.
Thank You, Lord.

Thank You for my laptop

Finally sorted out my laptop out with the help of a noble friend of mine. It is a gift to have a friend. I have not written in a while like I last reported and I don't have too much time to build up the momentum.
Lord, I ask for Your Grace and Your Mercy once again to do what needs doing and the favour too.
Lord, in Your Mercy, hear my prayer.

Baby steps once again

Another long break for me. And the same old lesson that comes back to me after a break in writing. The lesson is that you lose momentum and it takes some energy and effort to get back the ground that one has lost. What to do but to climb back up again into the saddle?

No short cuts about that. I have to get back on track one way or the other and take those baby steps back to the intended state.

Thank You, Father for Your grace and Your mercy. Thank You for today.
