I do not come to you by chance

This is the title of a book by a friend of mine, Nigerian by birth and I have just finished reading it. A very thought-provoking novel indeed as it asks hard questions that one might not really have answers to currently. 

I am so proud of my friend and hopes she will write again since this novel is so good and does not lose its pace anywhere in the book.

And it encourages me to think upon a particular verse and also to remember that indeed it is not by power or by might, but by the Spirit that great things will be achieved.

I can all things through Christ who strengthens me and without Him, I am nothing.

Lord, in Your mercy, hear my prayer, Amen
