I have recently gone through an emotional roller-coaster with someone who gave me the impression he was interested in my wellbeing. It has been a shock to my system to realise that there are indeed people who are very beguiling in tongue and deceitful in heart. He might have other problems but get to the bottom of things and somewhere, somehow along the line, he chose a particular direction to go in.
