Help me, Lord, help me, please to focus until the end of this process. And then to focus some more on all that needs doing. So many things to do around this month and getting the boys to school and Ahema also to school. Lord, in Your wisdom, have mercy on me, Amen.

Serious questions

Arsenal were thrashed today by Man U but strangely I was not too affected by it. More important things on my mind at the moment and football is the least of my concerns. Trying to get out of a blue funk and get myself going. It is the writing and there is no way around that; and it is the walking as well and there again, there is no way around it. I have to get those feet moving. How am I going to fit that in, Lord?

Serious questions, serious answers needed, my Father God. I will listen to hear what You say to me, Lord, Amen!

Some progress

Nothing to report today; did write a letter and also posted a saying on FB so can I tick myself off then? Yes and no.

Tomorrow is another day, Lord. Nafiam, Lord, teach me, Lord, to follow Your ways, Amen.

Progress with assignments

Feeling a wee bit tired today; did not finish my assignments quite completely but achieved most of the goals. Hope to carry on during the week though I suspect I will be getting new assignments.

Lord, have mercy and help me get my mojo going again, please, Amen.

Another day in Nanakrom

Another day in Nanakrom. Woke up very early today and couldn't get back to sleep so did some praying and read my Bible. Then I wrote down some dreams/goals. Felt so very good indeed.

Hope to work through the night until a decent hour to go to sleep.

Wappy event

Attended a writing event for the boys this afternoon and though it was very amateurish and did not flow too smoothly, it was a very enjoyable event. It is a very positive thing for them to take part in because it will boost their confidence and their writing skills.

I always get inspired when I attend these events, whether it is the school plays or nursery performances. Each child deserves to shine and be given an opportunity to perform and to show what they are made of. Who knows what budding star will emerge from such a group?

Lord, thank You for the opportunities around; please help us make the most of them, Amen.

And thank You, Lord for today, Amen.

Wisdom beckons.

It has been quite a day; a fruitful one on some levels. Lord, teach me to number my days and grant me a heart of wisdom to know the right thing to do always. Help me believe and believe and believe that all my prayers will be answered because You hear me always, Amen.

I feel free, I feel happy! I thank You, Lord, Amen!

Fresh start!

A new beginning, hopefully including some weight loss too. Lord, help me make the right decisions in the big things as well as the small things. I do not want to make any wrong choices ever again; please help me hear You and desire to hear Your Voice in all things and in all ways, Amen.

Thank You for the gift of writing, Amen.

Progress, steady progress

I am making steady progress on my assignments though why I leave the work until the evenings, I have no idea. Is it the weather or just the entropy at home during the day or both? The boys being away in the evenings means there is more peace and quiet and I can actually hear myself think.

And on that subject, how does one get them to do what they need to do without shouting, especially with the fifteen year-old whose moods are worse than a menopausal female? And a thirteen year-old who thinks he is the most important person in the house and so is entitled to be rude?

Lord, I am praying, will keep praying and will do my best to create positive images in my mind about them as I pray. In all these things, I give thanks for steady progress with the course.

And as for the writing too, we give thanks, Amen.
